Herzogenaurach, which is on the banks of the Aura river, has the headquarters of two iconic sports brands-Adidas and Puma. Now their production is around the planet. The story could have been so different if the quarrel of two brothers – Rudolf and Adolf Dassler wouldn’t happen. Since childhood, they often quarreled and their common business was not left aside. In 1948 the joint production was divided into two separate factories. Adolf called his company Adidas. Rudolf gave the name Ruda, but it did not last long. Later the elder brother changed the name to Puma.
